Landscapes Around Town

After some editing to correct some issues with the photo's

image straightened out and heightened contrast

Black and white balanced adjusted for greater detail

Although this is not a typical landscape shot i feel when looked at in a different light it shows a wonderful landscape of the upmc building in a patriotic light
Just a classic picture of the city of pittsburgh at night, it is also noticeable that the lights of the area have casted a yellowish antique look onto the image making it almost eerie
Landscapes from Pittsburgh offer a big view into the historic past of the city of pittsburgh such as what is shown with this train track picture which leads the veiws eye out into the distance to a far off place

this is the fist picture i took in the series on automatic which used a much higher ISO which showed to be affective in taking faster moving objects but it created a lot more noise in the image which i worked on different camera functions to create a clearer image with less of the "noise"/ fuzziness of the image

The photo was taken at a low ISO which i discovered will reduce the noise in a photo, it will also slightly darken an image but increase color contrast in the photo

The start of a new photography class

nature3.jpg

The photo's by Ilkka Halso i find to be stunning works of art due to the use of principles of photography such as the rule of thirds to create a marvelous image that was able to capture the view's attention and keep it. The image also captures nature and human interaction at it's best taking a look at how wildlife and nature and work together for some truly amazing imagery
